केंद्र ने मुफ्त राशन योजना को तीन महीने के लिए बढ़ाया 29/09/2022   News   केंद्र सरकार ने प्रधानमंत्री गरीब कल्याण अन्न योजना (पीएमजीकेएवाई) को 1 अक्टूबर से तीन महीने के लिए और बढ़ा दिया है। इससे राष्ट्रीय खाद्य सुरक्षा अधिनियम के तहत लाभार्थियों को 31 दिसंबर तक प्रति व्यक्ति प्रति माह पांच किलो खाद्यान्न मिलता रहेगा। यह निर्णय बुधवार को यहां हुई कैबिनेट की बैठक में लिया गया। केंद्र ने कहा कि इससे त्योहारी सीजन में गरीब और कमजोर वर्गों को मदद मिलेगी। यह योजना अप्रैल 2020 से लागू है। कितना घाटा ? बैंक ऑफ बड़ौदा के मुख्य अर्थशास्त्री मदन सबनवीस ने कहा कि राजकोषीय घाटे पर फैसले का असर मामूली होगा।  उन्होंने कहा कि चुनौती यह सुनिश्चित करने की होगी कि चावल की खरीद लक्ष्य पर हो क्योंकि इस साल इसके उत्पादन में 70 लाख टन की गिरावट की संभावना है और सरकार गेहूं के बजाय चावल देने पर ध्यान केंद्रित कर रही है क्योंकि बाद के स्टॉक में कमी है।  उन्होंने कहा, "सितंबर तक चावल और गेहूं का स्टॉक 49 मिलियन टन है, जो 2017 के बाद से सबसे कम स्टॉक में से एक है।" योजना के बारे में जानकारी...

The lack of quality engineering education 28/09/2022   The Union Ministry of Education released the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings of 2022 in July .  1  An analysis of the top 200 institutes of technology and engineering colleges presents a disquieting / anxiety or worry picture.  2  The best institute in the category scored 90.04%. 🌺 But the 50th best scored only 50.11%; 🌺 the 100th best institute scored a mere 40.14%;  🌺and the one ranked 200th scored as little as 33.7%.  3  One can imagine the situation of the remaining 1,049 institutions that applied but got no rank.  And how terrible must be the situation in the approximately 4,500 institutions which did not even apply for the ranking? 4  These top-ranking institutions accommodate about 30,000 students as against the 11 lakh-12 lakh who register for the JEE Main exam.  The odds to get a seat in one of the top 100 institutions are as low as 2.73%. ...
